The Expo, now in its 4th year, is concurrent with the RIAI Annual Conference, and attracts top architects, architectural technicians and specifiers from all over Ireland.
Scott Paton, Technical Sales Engineer with Monodraught, and Graham Beckett, Managing Director at Fairhaven, manned the stand for the two-day event. Coolphase, Monodraught’s unique and innovative low-energy cooling and ventilation solution, attracted the most interest from visitors to the stand.
Monodraught has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing low energy, low carbon solutions for 40 years. The company is focused around three major product areas in which they are recognised as Market Leaders – Natural Daylight, Natural Ventilation and Natural Cooling
The WINDCATCHER X-Air is a 2nd generation “top-down” natural ventilation system featuring patented ACTIVLOUVRE® modulating aerofoil louvre technology and intelligent controls. SUNPIPE® natural daylight systems directs sunlight into a room from roof level. Monodraught Sunpipes are available up to 1 metre in diameter, and have been installed anywhere from residential bedrooms to the Olympic Handball Arena in London. COOL-PHASE® is an innovative low-energy cooling and ventilation solution which utilises phase change materials to harness night time cooling.
