Fairhaven recently supplied 4 Monodraught X-Air units for a new activity centre at the Northern Ireland Scout Centre in the picturesque Crawfordsburn Country Park.
The units will provide natural ventilation to the 3 main multi-purpose rooms in the building, and were supplied with Monodraught’s new iNVent-2 intelligent control system. This newly developed control system adds even more functionality to the features of the previous generation iNVent panel, including an enhanced seasonal control strategy and in-built data-logging facility.
The X-air units are configured into 3 zones, with separate room temperature and CO2 sensors in each zone to allow automatic control of the internal conditions in each space according to demand.
Monodraught Windcatcher X-air is the next generation of top-down natural ventilation systems, following in the footsteps of the successful Windcatcher “CLASSIC” GRP systems. X-air incorporates several unique and innovative features, including the patented ACTIVLOUVRE modulating aerofoil louvre system which provides automatic adjustment of the louvre free area according to prevailing weather conditions. X-air is the only system of its kind to offer a NO LEAK GUARANTEE, which is important for northern climates such as ours.
