New Team Member – Matthew Thompson

We are delighted to introduce you to our latest team member, Matt Thompson, who joined Fairhaven earlier this year in the newly created post of Air Handling Systems Consultant.
Having worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the estates department of a prestigious Russell Group University for over 5 years, Matt has amassed a huge amount of knowledge and experience in all aspects of mechanical building services. He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the IMechE and is working towards CIBSE membership.
Matt’s role with Fairhaven is focused on providing Mandik and VTS air handling solutions to a wide range of projects and sectors. He is already working closely with several consultants, M&E contractors and end users, on a wide range of projects from early design stage right through to commissioning.
One of our current areas of focus is on AHUs for healthcare applications. Matt has successfully completed training for “Approved Person Ventilation” (APV) according to HTM03-01, and has worked with @Mandik A.S. to develop a unit specification that we are confident is one of the best currently available. Following on from this work, Matt is now offering a CPD seminar on AHU design for HTM03-01.
